People ask all the time, “How to you come up with something interesting and fresh to write on your blog?” my answer often contains a long list of methods, one of which is to open up Google Reader and see what others are writing about and if something there inspires me. It very often does the trick.
The only problem with that is, sometimes I am not necessarily in writing mode but am in topic research mode so I tend to feed all this into Evernote and go back to write them later. I know some of you would much rather save those interesting posts directly into your WordPress blog so you will be less distracted with more new and interesting posts when you are finally ready to sit and write.
Using The ‘Send To’ feature in Google Reader, you can do that. Here’s a quick tutorial.

With a growing number of people seeking entrepreneurship as an alternative path in this rough economy, there is increasing competition for the key resources that can make or break the startup venture.New entrepreneurs are competing for essential resources, such as the funding, the customers and the staff they need to build a successful business. Attracting these resources often relies on how well the entrepreneur can deliver "the pitch" for his new business.
An effective pitch starts with a hook -- something that grabs the attention of the person one is talking to about a business. The most effective hook lays the groundwork to show the underlying need in the market for what the new business aims to offer.

Email is back.
Despite repeated proclamations of its extinction, rumors of the death of email marketing have been greatly exaggerated — especially since email and social media are a powerful combination. You might not reach the average college freshman, but for slightly older types (you know, the ones with the money), email is still the way to go in many lucrative mainstream niches.
You must first, of course, get your emails read. And it all starts with the subject line.
Email subject lines are a form of headline. They perform the same function as a headline by attracting attention and getting your email content a chance to be read.

Last week, the Mozilla Foundation released a new version of its Firefox 4 web browser. The new version offers better performance, improved tab management, more HTML5 video support, synchronization, and a significantly different look. There are also indications that "the people's browser" will no longer support pre-Intel Macs.
This most recent release is the fourth beta version of Firefox 4 that Mozilla, which seeks to benefit the public by creating free, open source Internet solutions, has produced this year. (Note that a "beta" version refers to an application that not fully complete.) At the time of this writing, beta five of Firefox 4, could be released at anytime, and version six of the beta, which should include all of the features planned for the final Firefox 4, was likely to be released on September 10, just days before the much anticipated beta of Microsoft's Internet Explorer 9 is expected.
